Buddha’s Hand Citron is an ancient relative of the modern lemon. Its citrusy floral perfume has been traditionally used to fragrance homes. The fruit itself traditionally symbolizes happiness, longevity, and good fortune.

European crepe paper was painted to match this fruit’s beautiful color. Each citron finger was sculpted and finished by hand with wire, cotton and crepe paper, down to the texture of citrus pores. Leaves are wired individually on Japanese florist wires.

A wire loop is integrated into the piece for hanging.
