Two donut peaches (also known as Saturn or flat peaches) hanging on painted branches, their leaves dreamlike, brushed with hues of indigo and jade green, with tiny touches of gold.
Inspired by a real case of farm peaches, this work recalls the hazy summer days and abundance of stone fruit and maybe perhaps even fleeting romance? Influenced by Chen Zihfo’s flower-and-bird ink paintings, this work brings together movement, paint and sculpture.
